Unfortunately Norwegian fashion does not have a reputation for being innovative or something to brag about. Sad..because I know there are so many talented young designers out there who never get a chance to show the world their talent..simply because they don´t have the funds to do so.
Kudos to the creative minds who got together and started UP- a new arena where fresh talent can be displayed. I attended their first runway show ever yesterday and only one word feels necessary: BRAVO BITCHES!
6 designers showed off 6 very different collections. My favourites were Janne Aunan, Jone Nielsen and Christian Aks. I need to see more of these guys very soon!
